About Palm Beach Share And Care

Palm Beach Share-N-Care is a registered charity organisation, in Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

For over 40 years Palm Beach Share-N-Care has been one of the main meeting grounds for the senior citizens of Palm Beach, Gold Coast. We are also a major distributor for “Meals on Wheels”, where we deliver nourishing and balanced meals, cooked onsite in our centres facilities, to the seniors living across the Gold Coast.

Our centre is here for men and women, in the age 50 + living in and nearby the suburb. We offer a wide range of daily activities, and provide social settings, where our seniors have the opportunity to engage in as little or as many activities they like. 

What We Do

There is always something to do at our Centre! Our activities include: Bingo, dance, jolly seniors, card games, indoor lawn bowls and fitness classes to name a few (See our Activities page for more information). Furthermore, the Centre conducts fundraising events and hires out facilities, such as our halls and commercial kitchen, for private functions.

During the week our Kitchen is normally busy preparing meals to be delivered on Tuesday and Friday. At Palm Beach Share ‘N’ Care we believe that Meals on Wheels offers more than just a meal. We provide essential support and social contact for the safety, health and wellbeing of the elderly and other individuals in our community.

Who We Are

Our organisation has a small core team of staff but is truly carried by the generous time and effort given by our large base of volunteers, and the sponsorship provided by local businesses and organisations. Today we are working with sponsors such as Gold Coast Airport´s Community Benefit Fund, Currumbin RSL, Gold Coast City Council and Gold Coast Community Fund.
